My name is Jim Emrich and I have been practicing the way of servant-leadership for the last 20 years. I have also been privileged to work with others who share this commitment to leading by serving others.
• You may have come to learn about the application of servant-leadership by exemplary companies.
• You may have come seeking the wisdom of others or to discover other organizations which serve the common good.
• You may have come seeking a brief respite from the pressures of your life of work.
• You may have come desiring to find ways to link your faith and your work.
• You may have come seeking a coach/companion as you seek to build your own capacity as a servant-leader.
Whatever your reason, I am grateful that you have come.
This website, which is in development, will be reflective of this core conviction. I hope you will return again to see how it grows and how you may contribute to it.
Servant-Leadership is living clear examples which touch lightly that enhance individual welfare and promote the common good.
In the meantime, if you want to know a little more about me and the work that I do you can go to those pages. I also urge you to get to know Robert Greenleaf. Without his contemporary witness to the appropriateness of and need for servant-leadership a profound movement may not have come into being. Finally, I urge you to visit the The Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership.
You may also want to visit the World Wide Network of Servant-Leadership
Thanks for visiting.
